Samu Maciá writes about injury recovery
Competition returned to the Ciudad Deportiva this past weekend, but the joy for some players will still have to wait, as they make their way back from longterm injuries. Months of gruelling physiotherapy and recovery work alongside the medical staff and fitness coaches are undertaken with a comeback in mind.
One such player is Samu Maciá of VCF Juvenil, who suffered a cruciate ligament tear last September during preseason. The defender is making progress with his recovery and has his sights set on a return next season, whilst in the meantime he watches his teammates finish first in Grupo VIII-B of the Liga Nacional.
