José Manuel Sempere played for Valencia CF for 15 seasons and almost 500 official and unofficial games. The goalkeeper from Torrellano joined at the start of the 1980s from Orihuela, and experienced great moments such as a European Supercup win and brilliant league and European campaigns.
He also had some tough moments, such as relegation to the Segunda División. Sempere has always identified strongly with the club, as he explained to VCF Media.
