Setting the pace in the ascent up the LaLiga table
Attention for Valencia CF now shifts to LaLiga, where the team are experiencing a positive dynamic that has allowed them to continue scaling the table. Thanks to their sustained form over recent weeks, Albert Celades' side have broken into the European places, and are the club to have risen the most positions between Matchdays 12 and 22.
During this time, Valencia CF have gone from 13th to 5th, moving 2 points behind Sevilla and Getafe in fourth and third, respectively.

No other team has gained as many positions (8) during this time. The seven victories earned by the team during this timeframe (against RCD Espanyol, Granada CF, Villarreal CF, Levante UD, SD Eibar, FC Barcelona and RC Celta), plus two draws and suffering only two defeats, have accrued some 23 points.

Next on the agenda is a game against Getafe on Saturday at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, with a chance to overtake their rivals with a win. Their opponents are also a side on a roll, with 6 wins in 8 games and just two losses at home so far this term (against FC Barcelona and Real Madrid).
