Soler: "We need to reflect, watch what happened and learn"
Scorer of the penalty that opened the scoring against Rayo Vallecano, Carlos Soler spoke to VCF Media about the 1-1 final result.
Analysing the match
In the first half we did what we had to do, which was to go ahead. Then, in the second half we had some chances for the second, but we didn't score and they equalised. It seemed like we were losing. We broke apart a lot and it is a shame, because today there were three very important points at stake.
Problems in the second half
We had chances to score the second. In the first half I had a cutback that we could have scored from and in the second half we had chances. In the first half we made the opposition uncomfortable. Perhaps we picked up too many cards, and that hindered us a bit. We aren't happy with the draw. We didn't lose, but it was an opportunity to take the three points and we didn't do it.

Upcoming matches
We have the Copa del Rey, which is always exciting. It is a beautiful competition. Then we go to Vigo, which is not going to be easy and we have to prepare for it.
Scoring the penalty
If it doesn't give us the three points, then it is of little use. It's a pity. In the first half, we had things under control. In the second, you could see the equaliser coming. We wanted to go for the win, but we can't break up that way. We need to reflect, watch what happened and learn.
