“I was a midget when I arrived” admitted Carlos Pérez Charly. He arrived at 7 years of age from Chiva to play for the Benjamin side will the desire to grow at the VCF Academy and enjoy football in goal. And he has done so at every level and he is now at Juvenil A almost a decade on since arriving at the Ciutat Esportiva.
Charly has recently extended ties with the club earlier this week.
"Looking back is astonishing. I’ve learned a lot and I’m happy to continue here at the VCF Academy where I’ve been playing football almost all my life”. He’s been taking steps all the way up to being in goal at Juvenil A in División de Honor.
We you start out at Benjamines you see everything far away from you and as years go by it gets tougher and I'm grateful for the opportunity, I’ve got the toughest step left now”.
