Corberán: “It’s time to compete and to give our all”
The coach looks ahead to the game against Deportivo Alavés
It has been a season full of emotions in which the fans have played a fundamental role both at Mestalla with an average attendance of more than 40,000 spectators, as well as in away games, especially in the last stretch of the calendar.
Nearly 7,000 Valencianistas have participated this season in the various trips in LaLiga and the Copa del Rey to accompany and encourage the team when they needed it most away from home.
The largest crowd was in Elche, with 1,350 Valencianistas travelling to the Martínez Valero to help the team secure a crucial victory, with some spectacular images of the team's arrival that will live long in the memory.
It was the first of the massive trips of this final stretch of the season where distance, miles or sleepless nights on a bus were not an obstacle for Valencia CF fans, as was demonstrated in Vigo (197), Almería (530), Cádiz (450) or Sevilla (575). Even in Palma de Mallorca, where despite the match being played during the week and not being able to travel by road, 255 Valencia CF fans travelled.
