Nine members of the Valencia CF squad have been called up for international duty in the coming two weeks. Here is how their schedule looks:


Kang In: Korean Republic

October 10th, Hwaseong: Korean Republic 8 vs. 0 Sri Lanka. (2022 World Cup Qualifier)

Kang In started in Korean Republic's game against Sri Lanka in qualifying for World Cup 2022.

The VCF player set up the third goal in an 8-0 win, with a great pass to his teammate. He also tested the opposition goalkeeper with a shot from outside the box.

October 15th, Pyongyang: North Korea vs. South Korea. (2022 World Cup Qualifier)


Ferran Torres: Spain U-21s

October 10th, Córdoba: Spain 1 vs. 1 Germany (Friendly)

Ferran Torres played 55 minutes against Germany for the Under-21s, a game which ended in a 1-1 draw.

October 15th, Podgorica: Montenegro vs. Spain (U-21s Euro 2021 Qualifier)

Cillessen: Holland

October 10th, Rotterdam: Holland 3 vs. 1 Northern Ireland (2020 European Championship Qualifier)

Jasper Cillessen took part in the 3-1 win over Northern Ireland on a quiet night in Rotterdam. The Netherlands continue strong in their quest to qualify for Euro 2020, and lead Group C -level on 12 points with Germany and Northern Ireland.

October 13th, Minsk: Belarus vs. Holland (2020 European Championship Qualifier)

Denis Cheryshev: Russia

October 10th, Moscow: Russia 4 vs. 0 Scotland (2020 European Championship Qualifier)

Cheryshev was a second half substitute in a 4-0 win for Russia against Scotland, leaving his country close to qualification for Euro 2020. They will clinch their place if they avoid defeat in their next game, against Cyprus.

October 13th, Nicosia: Cyprus vs. Russia (2020 European Championship Qualifier)

Thierry Correia: Portugal U-21s

October 11th, Doetinchem: Holland 4 vs. 2 Portugal (U-21s Euro 2021 Qualifying)

Correia started Portugal's game against The Netherlands and enjoyed a chance on goal before halftime, but was frequently stopped by fouls from the opposition.
Guedes: Portugal

October 11th: Portugal 3 -  Luxembourg 0. (Euro 2020 qualifier)

Gonçalo Guedes came on in the 77th minute against Luxembourg, and it was he who rounded off the scoring in a 3-0 win. His strike came off a corner taken by Joao Moutinho.

Portugal are second in Group B, 5 points off Ukraine -who have played an extra game.

October 14th, Kiev: Ukraine vs. Portugal (2020 European Championship Qualifier)

Wass: Denmark

October 12th, Copenhagen: Denmark vs. Switzerland (2020 European Championship Qualifier)

October 15th, Aalborg: Denmark vs. Luxembourg (Friendly)

Rodrigo: Spain

October 12th, Oslo: Norway vs Spain (2020 European Championship Qualifier)

October 15th, Solna: Sweden vs Spain (2020 European Championship Qualifier)


Maxi Gómez: Uruguay

October 12th, Montevideo: Uruguay 1 vs. 0 Peru (Friendly)

Gómez played 90 minutes in a friendly game in Montevideo, won by the home side.

October 16th, Lima: Peru vs. Uruguay (Friendly)
