The Lowdown: Thierry Correia
Thierry Correia is one of the most promising young right backs in European football, and joins Valencia CF looking to continue his impressive progress at the highest level. A regular for Portugal at youth level, Correia has played 44 games in total for the Under-16s, Under-17s, Under-18s, Under-19s and Under-20s sides, and will feature for the Under-21s ffor the first time during the current international break.

At club level, he has experience in the UEFA Youth League for Sporting CP, before debuting for the Portuguese club at senior level last season in the Europa League against Qarabag Agdam. This season he has played the full 90 minutes in five official games for them.
Correia has recent experience of Valencia CF, having played in the Troféu Cinco Violines preseason trophy game in Lisbon this summer. Now he switches clubs for his first taste of LaLiga football, bringing his pace, fitness and ability to take on opposition players to Mestalla.
