Corberán: “It’s time to compete and to give our all”
The coach looks ahead to the game against Deportivo Alavés
The third week of Valencia CF's preseason started on Monday, with the same goals and intentions as for the previous two. The team are striving to reach the start of the LaLiga season in the best shape and as tactically prepared as possible.
Javi Gracia and his coaching staff set out another intense session of strength work in the morning, plus circuit drills with the ball, with the aim of improving fitness and upping the workload ahead of next month's kickoff to the campaign. Rodrigo Moreno returned to the group after missing training on Friday afternoon, whilst Denis Cheryshev and Jordi Escobar undertook sets of strength exercises.
Having played their first friendly this past Saturday against CD Castellón, which ended with victory thanks to a goal from Manu Vallejo, the squad are looking ahead to the second and third summer clashes this Friday and Saturday, at the Pinatar Arena against Villarreal CF and Levante UD, respectively.
