Tribute paid to legend Mañó on his 90th birthday
Daniel Mañó Villagrasa was born in Sueca on February 27th, 1932. In 2022 he turns 90 years old.
Maño made his official debut for CD Mestalla in September of 1950 and became part of the Valencia CF squad in the 1952/53 season -although he had already played a friendly match with the first team in March of 1952. The 1963/64 campaign was his last at the club. With Valencia CF he won the Copa (1954) and two Fairs Cups (1962 and 1963).
For his birthday, he received a tribute from Valencia CF in person, as director-general of the VCF Foundation, Teo Swee Wei, visited him at his home and presented him with a personalised shirt.

The tributes will continue from March 3rd to March 13 at Sala Els Porxets de Sueca. On Thursday, at 6:30 pm, the “Els nostres ídols: Mañó” exhibition will be inaugurated, organised by the VCF Foundation's Heritage and Museum Department.
This exhibition is a continuation of those already put on by Valencia CF, honouring legends Puchades, Claramunt and Roberto Gil.
