Valencia CF Campuses return to Ciudad Deportiva

The Ciudad Deportiva will host two VCF Campuses this summer, with coaches and a methodology that has given the VCF Academy the reputation of being one of the best youth systems in the world.

Valencia CF have opened the registration process for the Summer Campus, which will add an extra aspect in 2021: The Elite Coaching Campus complements the annual Summer Campus.

Both the Elite and Summer campuses will be held at the Ciudad Deportiva, which will have the strictest health, safety and hygiene protocols in place. They will be run from June 28th to July 17th, spread over different time slots and divided into morning and afternoon sessions.

Elite Coaching Campus

The Elite Coaching Campus is aimed at those born between 2002 and 2006 who already have experience in football, and who wish to improve through specific coaching for their position.

At the VCF Elite Campus, participants will develop their skills through an intensive high performance course, involving all areas of the VCF Academy’s work: Talent management, video analysis, fitness training, nutrition, psychology, the goalkeeping department and more. It is a unique programme, searching for excellence in sporting performance.

The VCF Elite Campus for 2021 will be run with professionals from the VCF Academy, with experience in coaching at Cadete and Juvenil level, as well as boasting the participation of specialists from each department at the Ciudad Deportiva -who will teach both practical and theory masterclasses.

Besides training sessions based on positions, and theory and practical masterclasses, each player who takes part in the VCF Elite Campus will receive:

• An anthrophometric analysis at the start of the programme.

• Fitness sessions.

• A personalised analysis dossier from the VCF Academy methodology department.  

• A video report by the VCF Academy video analysis department.

• A PUMA VCF Campus official training kit, consisting of a shirt, shorts and socks.  

• Mestalla Forever Tour: An educational trip to Mestalla, LaLiga’s oldest stadium.

Participants can choose the time schedule that best suits their age group, in intensive afternoon sessions:

- June 28th to July 3rd. Male Cadete, born between 2005 and 2006.

- July 5th to July 10th. Male Juvenil, born between 2002 and 2004.

- From July 12th to July 17th. Female Cadete and Juvenil, born between 2002 and 2006.

Valencia CF are running the Summer Campus for boys and girls aged between 5 and 14. If you like football and Valencia C, now you have the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable experience at the place where your heroes train: The Ciudad Deportiva.

The training facility has been adapted to the present situation with full safety and hygiene measures, as well as strict health protocols that make the VCF Campus a completely safe activity.

The 2021 VCF Summer Campus will have three time slots, so that nobody misses out. Football will be the main activity, taught by VCF Academy coaches, and will be complimented by multi-sport activities, talks and a visit to the Mestalla Forever Tour.

Each participant will receive a PUMA training kit (shirt, shorts and socks), an official VCF mask, a personalised diploma and other campus gifts.

Where is it held? At Valencia Club de Fútbol’s Ciudad Deportiva (Paterna).

When is it held?

Participants may choose from any of the three calendar slots for intensive morning sessions:
