Continuing with the tribute, the general director of the VCF Foundation, Teo Swee Wei, presented her on behalf of Valencia CF with a picture of Vicente Peris that had been published by the Club on social media.
"It has been a very intense week, with many acts of recognition, a tribute and that culminates now in a rounded way with this very emotional action from Valencia CF. I have been very moved. The designers have done a magnificent job based on an old photo and they have done it with sensitivity, delicacy and great taste," Merchina told VCF MEDIA.
