Valencia CF squad make traditional children's hospital visit
Continuing an annual tradition, the Valencia CF squad paid a visit to several local hospitals on Wednesday, January 2nd, to greet children and their families in the Hospital La Fe, Hospital General, Hospital Universitario Doctor Peset and Hospital Clínico facilities and hand out gifts.
Some 300 children got to meet the players over the course of the day, as well as club president Anil Murthy, coach Marcelino García Toral and VCF Foundation patron José Luis Zaragosí.
At the Hospital Universitario La Fe were Anil Murthy, Marcelino García Toral, Dani Parejo, Rodrigo Moreno, Gabriel Paulista, Michí Batshuayi, Kevin Gameiro, Mouctar Diakhaby, Carlos Soler, Santi Mina, Ferran Torres. Attending the Hospital Universitario Doctor Peset were Toni Lato and Ezequiel Garay. Ruben Vezo, Jaume Doménech, José Luis Gayà and Cristiano Piccini went to the Hospital Clínico Universitario, and the Hospital General was visited by José Luis Zaragosí, Neto Murara, Dennis Cheryshev and Daniel Wass.
The squad members posed for photos, signed autographs, chatted with the hospitalised children and gave them gifts provided by the VCF Foundation, bringing smiles to their faces during the visit.
