Valencia CF will begin the 2021/22 preseason on Wednesday, July 7th, starting with the customary medicals at the Ciudad Deportiva. The team, under new coach José Bordalás, will kick off the upcoming season with analysis, anthropometric studies, weight tracking and complete medical examinations.
Following the tests, the squad will travel to the Hotel Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort for a training camp from July 12th to 17th. In this time, they will play their first preseason friendly on Friday, July 16th, against Villarreal CF.
Further friendlies take place at the Antonio Puchades: On Wednesday, July 21st, against Greek side Atromitos FC -who last season played in the qualifying rounds for the UEFA Europa League - and on Saturday, July 24th against Segunda División team FC Cartagena.
These three friendly matches will not be open to the public, due to Covid 19 safety protocols.
