Valencia CF will start their 2022/23 preseason on July 5th, reporting for medical tests at the Ciudad Deportiva and IMEDUCV Alto Rendimiento Deportivo centre from 9am. The players will undergo analytical and anthropometric studies, have their weight recorded and have a complete medical examination. During the week, coach Gennaro Gattuso is scheduled to hold morning and afternoon training sessions in groups.
Subsequently, from Friday, July 15th to Saturday, July 23rd, the squad will be based at the Spiserwies facilities in the Swiss town of St. Gallen. A series of friendlies have been confirmed during this time: July 18th, at 7:00 pm at the Cashpoint Arena in Altach (Austria), against Borussia Dortmund, last season's Bundesliga runners-up, and on Saturday July 23rd at 3:30pm against VFB Stuttgart, at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
