Valencia CF use IMED Valencia hyperbaric treatment for injury recovery

Most recently, player Jesús Vázquez undertook his injury recovery therapy at IMED Valencia and underwent hyperbaric medicine treatment. This procedure consists of a combination of high oxygen breathing in an environment with pressure higher than that of the atmosphere, enabling oxygen to pass to body tissue, reaching areas with little oxygenation and with low blood supply.

Hyperbaric medicine in athletes has the ability to reduce injury recovery time, increase sporting performance and combat fatigue.
