The special visit of the A-Ball team to the first-team players and coaching staff

The wheelchair football team, which was crowned league champion last season, experienced a morning full of emotions at the Ciudad Deportiva in Paterna.
The Valencia CF Wheelchair Football team, an adapted and inclusive football modality coordinated by the Valencia CF Footballers’ Association, visited the Valencia CF first-team players and their coach, Carlos Corberán.

Fernando Giner, President of the Valencia CF Footballers’ Association and promoter of the project, highlighted after this special meeting: “Today we had an exciting day here at the Ciudad Deportiva in Paterna with the A-Ball wheelchair football team. The Valencia CF team won the ‘Football for All’ league last season and this meeting helps the players gain strength and get excited for the new season.”

The day served to present the growth objectives of the wheelchair football modality and also underlined the importance of promoting A-Ball as a fully inclusive and accessible sport for everyone. It also included a game exhibition and a practical demonstration together with the first-team players.

Miguel Ángel Bossio, Club ambassador and coach of the Valencia CF A-Ball team, also highlighted: “We are here visiting with the football team, we have been welcomed by the coach Carlos Corberán, the players, and the boys have felt very honoured. It’s another experience for them that pushes them to keep growing. In September, the competition kicks off again and we’ll do it with the same excitement and desire to win the national title.”
