VCF Academy earns double call-up for Spain under-17

Yarek Gasiorowski and Hugo de Mateo will feature in a double friendly against France from the 18th to the 21st of August

The VCF Academy players are yet again at the heart of an international call-up for Spain under-17 which was announced by the RFEF on Tuesday evening.

The centre-back Yarek Gasiorowski and the striker Hugo de Mateo have made the squad list to train under Spain under-17 head coach Julen Guerrero to participate in a double friendly in the town of Montaigu.

Yarek Gasiorowski and Hugo de Mateo are back in a Spain call-up after the Polinyà de Xúquer centre-back had been called up to be involved in training with Spain under-16 last May and the Paterna striker had earned a call-up for Spain under-17.

Both Juvenil players have recently extended their ties with the VCF Academy.
