The official presentation of the XXXVII COTIF l’Alcúdia tournament took place this Thursday, unveiling the international Under-20s football tournament that will be held from August 23rd to September 2nd in Els Arcs de l’Alcúdia.

The event was put on at the Valencia council offices, with the presence of the director of the VCF Academy, Sean Bai, accompanied by the different representatives of the institutions that will take part in the competition.

Valencia CF have participated in many of the 36 editions of the tournament, in both the men's and women's competition and in the promises tournament that they won in 2019.
Last year the event was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and special protocol will be in place for the 2021 edition.

The COTIF l'Alcúdia is one of the top tournaments at international level, and this season will be entered by the four Primera División clubs from the Valencia region: Valencia CF, Villarreal, Levante UD and Elche, as well as national teams such as Argentina, Uruguay, Saudi Arabia and Ukraine.
