Valencia CF goes eight games unbeaten
A positive run of form marked by the ‘Mestalla factor’ and the team’s great effort and hard work
A Valencia CF tradition has undergone a modification this year, but children in local hospitals have still been treated to interaction with their idols and some special Christmas gifts. First team stars Carlos Soler and Jaume Doménech, plus coach Javi Gracia and club president Anil Murthy, adapted the normal format to deliver presents to the La Fe hospital.
Doménech and Soler are regulars in the visits to the hospital. Whilst they would normally greet the children directly and spend time with them at this special time of year, the COVID-19 pandemic has meant that the protocol this December is a little different. Nevertheless, the captains emphasised the importance of the gesture to try and spread happiness amongst those less fortunate.

Javi Gracia was a first time visitor to the La Fe hospital, and added that "What we really want is for everybody here to get better, so that they can be back amongst us soon -at Mestalla, if possible."
