“We are very proud to have played and to have won the VCF Academy World Cup”
Interview with Jorrick Lammers, coordinator of the VCF Camps Holland & Belgium
VCF Juvenil B close their season this week with a tournament in Ourense: The 'I Torneo Sub-18 Ourense a Provincia Termal.' In it they will play teams such as Real Madrid, Deportivo la Coruña, RC Celta Vigo and Porto FC -against whom they get things underway this Thursday at 6:30p.m.
The team competed until the end for the title in Group VIII of the Liga Nacional, and have continued to grow in terms of their play and the values learned at the VCF Academy.

Donation to Aspanion and Payasospital
A demonstration of those values is the decision to donate all money raised from disciplinary fines this season to Aspanion Valencia and Payasospital. The fines -for late arrival or small infractions- are traditionally used to pay for the end of season dinner, but the players themselves made the commendable call to give back to the community.
The representatives of Aspanion Valencia and Payasospital had a meeting with the VCF Juvenil B players, in which they thanked them for the gesture and wanted to reinforce their commitment.
"You are lucky to be in a super special sporting situation. Be happy, do things well and give everything, because we don't know what might happen tomorrow, said Paco Fortea. He, accompanied by Maite Espí, explained to the players their experience at Aspanion and Payasospital, respectively.
"You don't know just how much work that these people do in children's hospitals," explained team delegate José Luis Martí. “I have experienced it with my son Carlos. Carlos' face changed every time they sang songs and gave performances."
The captains of VCF Juvenil B, Marck Chust and Marc Ros, presented the donation.
"May this action serve for us to be aware that we are privileged, that we have to help each other and collaborate. We are the ones who have to thank these associations for all the work they do," concluded coach José Luis Bravo.
