In Valencia CF's game against Elche CF this past weekend, Daniel Wass provided a 'blast from the past.' The Dane latched onto a cross from Gonçalo Guedes to head past goalkeeper Edgar Badia, scoring the winning goal of the game.
It was the versatile midfielder-full back's first headed goal for the club, and only his second since arriving in Spain, from some 20 strikes in total. The majority of his goals have come from his right foot.

Wass does have some history of using his head, however. His first goal in professional football was a nod home against Esbjerg FC in the Danish SuperLeague, whilst in Norway 5 of his first 8 goals were scored like that, representing Fredikstad FK and Brondby IF.
In total, he has scored 11 goals with his head over the course of his career.
