Diego Lopez and Cristhian Mosquera advance to the semi-finals of the Olympic Games to fight for the medals
Spain beat Japan (0-3) and next Monday they will face Morocco (6 pm)
The Spanish national team continue to progress at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. With Diego López and Cristhian Mosquera representing Valencia, the national team beat Japan in the quarter-final on Friday at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais by 0 goals to 3 and have already qualified for the semi-finals.
A Fermín López brace and another one from Abel Ruiz boosted Spain in an afternoon in which they had their best display in the tournament and in which Diego López played a part in the final stretch. The Asturian forward provided the scare in an incident that, as he himself explained on social media, was nothing more than a knock, so he will be available for selection to help the team in the semi-final match.
This coming Monday, 5 August, Spain will face Morocco, a match that will be held in Marseille (6 pm) and where the fight for the medals will begin.
