Diego López and Cristhian Mosquera reach Paris 2024 Olympic Games final
Spain beat Morocco (1-2) and next Friday 9 August at 6 pm kick-off they will face the winner of the France/Egypt match
The Spanish national team has reached the final of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The national team, with Diego López and Cristhian Mosquera representing the Valencia CF side, beat Morocco in the semi-final match played this Monday at the Stade Vélodrome (Marseille) by 1 goal to 2 and have already qualified for the Olympic final.
A goal by Fermín López and another by Juanlu Sánchez helped Spain to complete the comeback against the Moroccan team, who took the lead with a penalty converted by S. Rahimi, and thus propel Spain to the fight for the gold medal, thus securing the Olympic medal.
This coming Friday, 9 August, Spain will face the winner of the other semi-final between France and Egypt in the final at the Parc des Princes (Paris) at 6pm kick-off time.
