A relationship that began with the Club's traditional Christmas visit to local hospitals
In December, Valencia CF makes a Christmas visit to various Valencian hospitals - La Fe, El Clínico, Doctor Peset, General and IMED Hospitales - sharing the VCF DNA with the children who are hospitalised at this special time of year.
The December 2023 meeting marked the beginning of a very special relationship with the Morant Alberola family. ‘When my son was admitted to La Fe, Valencia CF came and approached the children to greet them, to take photos with them, they gave them presents and it was a great joy for all the children and their families, which during those dates, which are very delicate, and the truth is that it was a great surprise,’ explains Marta Alberola, Lluis' mother.
The family attended Mestalla for the team's match against CA Osasuna. It was an emotional reunion with a lot of sentiment. ‘It was the first time we all came after a very hard year of treatment and it was a wonderful experience to see Baraja and the players again. Lluis was able to enjoy it. It's a watershed moment, it's a way of wanting to continue coming here because it's a very nice memory. A sentiment", describes Marta Alberola.
