MOSQUERA: "THE TEAM SHOWED IMPROVEMENT AND HUNGER"

Cristhian Mosquera talked about the 1-0 win over Real Sociedad after the final whistle.

“It is clear that this was an area that needed improvement. We wanted to keep a clean sheet. It has been shown that, together, in defence we have been very strong. And this is the way forward. We have to continue this way, working hard, because this is how more victories will come.”

“We are a pair of young, homegrown defenders. We feel strongly about Valencia CF and we know that we have to give much more, that we have to give 100% for this club. That is what we are going to do. We are going to give our all.”

“Playing at Mestalla is always special. It is a privilege to be able to play at home in this stadium. We must enjoy it and take advantage of the fact that the fans never let us down. In recent games we have been on the rise and close to winning, which we have achieved today. That has to be the way forward. We knew the importance of this match, especially because we were playing at home. Mestalla has to be a fortress -as it has always been. Today we felt very strong, we had the match under control and I think today we showed that the team are improving and are hungry.”
