Match Report: Valencia CF win 0-2 away to Sevilla FC

Two

Valencia CF defeated Sevilla FC 0-2 at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán on matchday 29 of LaLiga. Hugo Duro and Ramazani scored the goals.

The match began with great intensity from both teams. Valencia CF tried to control the game by building attacks from the back. However, the first dangerous attack came from Sevilla FC, with Vargas creating a chance, but Núñez made a great tackle to clear it.

The intensity and importance of securing the three points were evident in the 19th minute when José Luis Gayà suffered an unfortunate incident, requiring treatment after two heavy blows sustained in an aerial challenge with Juanlu. He was substituted a few minutes later.

Midway through the first half, Valencia CF came very close to taking the lead after Ramazani passed back to Guido, and the Argentine shot, but his effort went just wide of Vlachodimos's goal.

In the 34th minute, they had another great chance. Almeida found Ramazani in the penalty area, and the Belgian shot, but Vlachodimos made the save.

Their persistence paid off, and Hugo Duro scored to make it 0-1. He capitalised on the rebound after a great team move and Ramazani's shot that was parried.

In the following minutes, Valencia CF launched numerous attacks on Sevilla FC's goal, and in the last of these, Ramazani scored the second, off a counter-attack in which Rioja delivered a perfect pass for the Belgian winger to tap into the net.

SECOND HALF

After the break, Carlos Corberán's men continued with high intensity, waiting to seal the game on another counter-attack, although Isaac unleashed a dangerous shot that was saved by Dimitrievski.

Valencia CF remained solid defensively against Sevilla's attacks. The team maintained this defensive strength and continued to dominate possession. In the 94th minute, Dimitrievski made a superb save to keep a clean sheet, as the victory was confirmed.

After the international break, Valencia CF will host RC Celta de Vigo on Matchday 30.
