Aaron Mayol makes his official Valencia CF debut 

Aaron Mayol (03/03/2008) made his official Valencia CF debut. The Valencia CF Academy player started the match and played the full 90 minutes in the victory over Deportivo Alavés, in the Matchday 6 fixture of the 2026-27 LALIGA EA SPORTS season.

“His performance is what led me to pick him. His ability. I know him well. I didn’t need to tell him much. I told him, ‘You know what I want from you. Go in, enjoy yourself, compete, and your teammates will help you.’ Now we need to be patient and give him continuity. He has to keep that desire to improve,” said Valencia CF head coach Óscar Sánchez after the match.

It is worth noting that last season he was crowned champion of the División de Honor Group VII and featured for VCF Mestalla during the final part of the season in Group III of Segunda Federación. Both teams were coached by Óscar Sánchez.

As a result, on Tuesday night, 15 September 2026, he became the 126th player to make his first-team debut after playing for VCF Mestalla, dating back to the official opening of the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna in 1992.
