bwin becomes Valencia CF Main Global Partner
Valencia CF and bwin have signed an agreement for the betting company to become the club’s main sponsor from July 1. bwin, a part of GVC Holdings, the largest sports betting and online gaming group worldwide, will be the new Main Global Partner for the next three seasons.
The two entities have already collaborated in a special way in Valencia CF’s Centenary season, and have grown together since bwin first became an official sponsor in 2016/17. From the 2019/20 season, bwin will be the club's highest-level sponsor, and as Main Shirt Partner will have their logo on the front of the official match and training shirts. The agreement includes both the first team and VCF Mestalla, in all official matches in LaLiga, the Copa del Rey and European competitions.
bwin are one of the leading bookmakers in Europe and will be Main Global Partner to Valencia CF, with a prominent presence at Mestalla and the Ciudad Deportiva de Paterna.
After the agreement was signed on Friday morning, in an event attended by Valencia CF President Anil Murthy and Managing Director of bwin in Spain and Latin America, Marcus Silva, both parties highlighted the importance of the sponsorship contract that will keep bwin as Main Global Partner from July 1st, 2019, to June 30th, 2022.
Anil Murthy stated that “bwin are leaders in their sector, and set the benchmark for their technological innovation, transparency and dynamism. Valencia CF share these virtues and I am convinced that strengthening this alliance will be tremendously beneficial for both parties. We hope to make history together."
