Parejo: “The group are convinced, united and have always reacted in difficult moments”
A veteran of 370 games for Valencia CF, Dani Parejo recently entered the Top 10 for all-time appearances for the club -headed by Fernando Gómez (553), Ricardo Arias (521) and David Albelda (485).
VCF MEDIA had received messages of congratulations from the other members of this exclusive group, to show to Parejo when he achieved his milestone. Ever-appreciative, the VCF captain responded with a message of his own:
i thank everybody for their video messages and their kind words. They aren't just anybody at this club or the world of football. They are historic at this club because of their achievements. It's an honour for me to receive these words, and above all to receive them from people who are so important for Valencia CF. They will continue to be part of the club's history forever,” he told VCF Media.
“It's an honour to be part of the Top 10 and I hope to play many more games. Playing for as demanding a club as Valencia CF, who always fight for great objectives, I never imagined this achievement.·

Parejo also referred to the team’s current situation, saying that: “I also want to say that the group are convinced of our ability. In difficult moments the group have always reacted and always been united. I think that the group deserve great credit, because we have done big things when people didn't believe in us. I thank the former players for their messages once again, and to many other people who are also part of Valencia CF history. For me and for my family it's a true source of pride to be part of the history of a club as big as this one.”
