Discover the emotional surprise prepared by his friends and family
Francisco ‘Paco’ Pérez is a great Valencia CF supporter who suffers from lung cancer, and one of his biggest wishes was to go to Mestalla with his two sons. His friends made this dream come true.
“All this came about because of our friend Paco who, unfortunately, has become very ill, and since he is a big Valencia CF fan, we, his friends, spoke with Valencia CF, who were very kind, and gave us tickets so that he could fulfil his wish to come to the stadium with his two sons. He has lung cancer and it has spread a lot,” explains Pascual Carrasco, Paco’s friend.
His lifelong friends wanted to give the family this unforgettable experience at the Valencia CF home for the match against Real Betis. “When we gave him the tickets as a surprise, he was very happy and very moved,” says Manuel Solera, Paco’s friend.
Very special and unforgettable moments. “I’m a Valencia CF fan, I hadn’t come for a long time and I wanted my children to see it. I had surgery for a tumour in my head and I told my friends that it would make me very happy to come to Mestalla with my sons. In my town they paid tribute to me with almost 2,000 people. Being here with my sons is a dream,” says Francisco Pérez.
