Friendly match against Borussia Mönchengladbach

The preseason game forms part of the German club's 125th annviersary

Valencia CF will play a friendly against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday, August 2nd (8:30 p.m.).

The match, part of the 2025/26 preseason, will take place at Borussia Park in Mönchengladbach and will commemorate the 125th anniversary of the German club.

The two sides have met several times in the past. Borussia Mönchengladbach were invited to the Trofeo Naranja in 1977 and 1979, when the fixture was still played in a triangular format.

More recently, in 2008, Valencia CF and Borussia Mönchengladbach played a preseason friendly at Borussia Park, which the home side won 4-2.
