Gayà moves into fourth place for laliga appearances with Valencia CF
The captain plays his 324th LaLiga game
Havng made his latest appearance for Valencia CF aganst Sevilla FC this past Sunday, captain José Luís Gayà has now reached 324 LaLiga appearances for the club. That takes him to fourth place in the all-time standings, overtaking Manolo Mestre.
His LaLiga debut was against Atletico Madrid on April 27th, 2014, at Mestalla. He gradually became a key player for VCF Mestalla, before making his first-team debut on October 30th, 2012, in a Copa del Rey match against UE Llagostera.
Gayà has continued to reach milestones since then, becoming the second youngest player (at 28 years and 289 days) in the club's history to play 350 official matches.
Ahead of Gayà in the LaLiga appearance chart for Valencia CF are Fernando Gómez Colomer (420), Ricardo Arias (377) and David Albelda (351).
