Illia Topuria’s premonitory advice to VCF Academy players

The UFC Featherweight Champion met a few months ago with the young players of the Valencia CF Residence.

A meeting and a phrase that was premonitory of what happened this weekend in which the fighter Ilia Topuria was crowned UFC Featherweight World Champion.

Months before, when he had not yet received this great sporting and media recognition, the Georgian fighter based in Alicante visited the Camp de Mestalla and there, in the company of fellow fighter Brandon Moreno, he met with a group of players from the Valencia CF Academy who listened attentively to his words.

 "For me, success isn't about what people think of me, it's a personal thing, It's about what you set your mind to. The only piece of advice I'd give them is to enjoy the process.
