Tárrega, from Aldaia, was the standout in Spain’s opening match of the 2025 U-21 European Championship. The Valencia CF defender scored the winning goal in the final moments against host nation Slovakia and was named Man of the Match. Mosquera and Javi Guerra were involved in the build-up to the goal, while Diego López provided the assist for Spain’s first goal. All four Valencia players started, performed impressively, and played the full 90 minutes.
