Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Aston Villa for the signing of Enzo Barrenechea on loan, through to June 30th, 2025.
The Argentine footballer comes in to strengthen the midfield at Valencia CF.
Part of the youth system at Newell's Old Boys, he was quickly recruited by Italian side Juventus and then at 18 years of age, he was loaned out to play for FC Sion in Switzerland. Later on, he returned to Turin to complete his development until making his debut in a Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.
During the 2023/24 season, Barrenechea played his first full campaign in the elite on loan at Frosinone Calcio in Serie A, where he became a key player in his 39 appearances.
This summer he signed for England's Aston Villa in the Premier League.
The new Valencia CF player will join training alongside his new teammates this Friday.
