Valencia CF have reached an agreement with ACF Fiorentina for the signing of Lucas Beltrán on loan.
The Argentinian striker comes to Mestalla through to the end of the current season.
The 24-year-old is an agile, complete forward with notable link-up play and a penchant for attacking space and generating danger.
Trained in the youth system at Instituto de Córdoba, at 15 years of age he signed for River Plate, one of the most prestigious clubs in his homeland.
After a season and a half on loan at Club Atlético Colón, where he gained experience and played in competitions such as the Copa Libertadores, Beltrán returned to River Plate, where he was part of the Liga Profesional winning side, scoring 16 goles in 2023.
He then moved to Italy, signing for ACF Fiorentina.
During his time at the club, he played 98 official games, scoring 16 goals and providing 9 assists across two seasons. One of his most notable moments came in May 2024, when he scored the goal against Club Brugge that sealed ACF Fiorentina’s place in the final of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
He is the latest addition to the forward line at Valencia CF, where he will get his first experience of LaLiga.
