Valencia CF have activated the contract extension of Luis Rioja through June 30th, 2027.
The Valencia CF winger had an automatic extension clause in his deal that would activate once he reached a certain number of appearances. As a show of confidence and recognition of his performance, professionalism, and commitment, the Club has chosen to trigger the clause early, extending his stay for another season.
Since joining Valencia CF in 2024, the player from Las Cabezas de San Juan (Seville) has played 49 matches to date, scoring 6 goals and providing 6 assists.
His contribution on the pitch has established him as a key figure thanks to his experience and competitive ability. He has also taken on a role within the dressing room and in daily work that makes him a clear reference for younger players.
Luis Rioja’s contract extension reaffirms his commitment to the project and ensures the continuity of an important player for the team led by our coach, Carlos Corberán.
