Valencia CF centre back César Tárrega talked to VCF Media after the team progressed in the Copa del Rey.

“We knew how important it was to go through to the next round. The team were committed from the start. We've already seen how tough the Copa del Rey is, and any team can make it difficult for you. We knew it would be a unique atmosphere, against a LaLiga Hypermotion side, and we had to approach it the way we did -and it showed from the beginning.”

“We played with a back four, with three at the back when building from deep. We felt comfortable with any of the variations, and it's good to have alternatives.”
