Pablo Hernández's career at Valencia CF started as a youth player and, later, after playing for CD Castellón, he returned to Valencia CF in this case, to play for VCF Mestalla for two seasons.

The following season he would play for Getafe CF. After a year in the Madrid team, in 2008 he returned to VCF and, from that moment, Pablo Hernández was taking, increasingly, more importance in the team. In fact, he played in the 2009 Confederations Cup with the Spanish National Team. 4 years later, in 2012, he headed to the Premier League with Swansea City.
