Valencia CF received a visit from former basketball player Víctor Claver. The Valencian athlete attended the Valencia CF match against CA Osasuna.

“It is a pleasure to be here with the invitation and this detail. The truth is that I am very grateful and I will try to support the team at the beginning of the season and hopefully it will be a great campaign,” Claver acknowledged.

Claver played 18 seasons as a professional, 3 of them in the NBA. During his time in Spanish basketball he won 1 ACB League and 3 Copas del Rey. At the international level, he was World Champion in 2019 with the Spanish National Team and three-time European Champion (2009, 2011 and 2015).

“It's a pleasure when you are recognized for your career after so many years. I had been here, at the Camp de Mestalla, a long time ago. Now, I am enjoying the sport from another perspective,” explained the former basketball player.

The president of Valencia CF -Layhoon Chan-, the Club's Corporate Director -Javier Solís-, and the Valencianista legend and Club ambassador -Vicente Rodríguez-, received the award-winning athlete and presented him with a personalized jersey with his name and number '10' -the number with which he was World Champion-.
