Rubén Baraja and Miguel Ángel Angulo have been the luxury hosts of the I VCF Academy Coaches Convention that from March 6 to 11 is taking place at the Ciutat Esportiva of Valencia CF with the presence of more than 40 coaches from the international projects of the VCF Academy in America and Europe.
The Valencia CF and VCF Mestalla coaches -two great legends of the club now in the dugouts- shared a theoretical session with the 43 coaches from the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Italy, Greece, Cyprus and Malta who listened to their recommendations, reflections and experiences and also had the opportunity to ask Baraja and Angulo their questions.
"As a coach you try to find your own way and put into practice the things that as a player you liked about what you saw in your coaches and also avoid the things you didn't like," said Baraja, who also highlighted the opportunity that young talents are finding at Valencia CF, which he manages, with a firm commitment to the emerging values of the VCF Academy.
Enjoy the process
"At younger ages the result doesn't matter, you just have to enjoy the process," says Angulo, who has been coaching for more than 10 years at the VCF Academy where he started in the Infantiles and has been evolving until now arriving at VCF Mestalla where in recent seasons he has prepared the players to make the leap to the first team with a strong emphasis on the winning mentality.
together as a family
After the training session Baraja and Angulo together with the 43 coaches took a big family photo as a souvenir of this I VCF Coaches Convention that will continue with theoretical and practical sessions taught by the Heads of the Identity Department of the VCF Academy and with a visit to the Camp de Mestalla to watch Valencia CF-Getafe CF this Saturday and on Sunday VCF Femenino - Real Betis at the Antonio Puchades.
