Angulo: "We’re coming into the break with good feeling"
VCF Mestalla head coach, Miguel Ángel Angulo, ran the rule over the opening four fixtures of the season as they stay unbeaten as well as the goalless draw away to FC Jové Español San Vicente.
"The conclusions are good, it was a game that we know that we had to fight for the full 90 minutes and that it wasn’t going to be an easy game and that’s how it was.
We had plenty of dominance and we tried to probe down the wings but they committed a lot of bodies in those areas, being well-positioned at the back and tried to hit us on the break.
We had to work our way into the game and we had the best chances in the closing stages.
Today it was a type of game to be effective in the final third with chances few and far between but we had to put them away, we weren’t efficient today but I’m pleased with the team’s work rate.
We’re going to work in the same vein and we’re going to top up our fitness levels, tactically correct the small mistakes, and when on the ball, we will try to be direct and be more efficient up top and improve our finishing”.
