Bryan Gil: "There's nothing better than debuting with a victory"
Bryan Gil went straight into the starting lineup for Valencia CF's game against Cádiz CF in the Copa del Rey, and immediately endeared himself to the Mestalla faithful with his dribbling skills, nutmegs, tenacity and energy.
The winger played the full 90 minutes of the cup contest, and spoke to VCF Media after the final whistle.

A strong debut
There's nothing better than debuting with a victory. It was a very hard-fought win. I think that we were very united and knew what to do when Cadiz equalised. I think that it was a very serious game, and it will be useful for the team to take a step forward.
Winning over Mestalla
I want to thank the fans for how they've welcomed me from day one. I have felt loved from the start, and I thank them a lot.
Wanting to play regularly
It's the coach who decides who plays. I wish that I played every game, but it's down to the coach and I will do everything possible to play in every game.

Feeling positive
I felt very good. I think that it was a very intense game from both sides. It's true that we didn't have much of the ball, but I felt comfortable and, above all, very good.
Upcoming game against Real Sociedad
We’ve got a really important game coming up on Sunday. It’s going to be tough, but if we perform like we did today, we’re going to take all three points.
Memorable shirt
I'm going to keep this shirt. I’ve been asked for it, but I said I’m sorry, I am keeping this one.
