Gómez one of four hoping for Champions League debut on Tuesday

The game against Chelsea on Tuesday night will be coach Albert Celades' first in the Champions League, but it also provides five Valencia CF players with the chance of making their debut appearance in the competition.
One such player is Maxi Gómez, who listed participation in the top club tournament as one of his main motivations for making the move to Mestalla this summer.
"Two years ago I was playing Champions League games on my videogame console. Now I will have the opportunity to do it for real with Valencia CF. It's something that I've always dreamed about," he said during his presentation.
The striker scored his first official goal for the club this past Saturday against FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou, and has his sights set on a second when VCF take on the UEFA Europa League holders.
Also in contention to make their Champions League bow are new arrivals Thierry Correia and Manu Vallejo, and VCF Academy product Kang In.
