Guedes greets Ferro in Portuguese reunion
New loan signing Ferro is not the only Portuguese member of the Valencia CF squad. In fact, the centre back has history with one of the more established players at the club: Compatriot Gonçalo Guedes.
The two spent time together at Seixal, SL Benfica's youth academy and training ground, and with the Portugal national team at youth level. Reunited in Spain, the pair have picked back up their friendship as Guedes welcomes Ferro to his new club.
With the Covid-19 protocol for the new arrival successfully completed, the pair have caught up at both the Ciudad Deportiva -where Ferro joined up with the squad on Thursday- and around the city.
VCF Media caught up with the duo as they talked about adapting to Valencia CF and the objectives for the next few months.
