Valencia CF welcome the women’s K4-500 world champions
The Valencian canoeist attended the match against RCD Mallorca at Mestalla
José Luis Gayà and Hugo Guillamón took part in a Meet & Greet with Valencia CF's Official Vehicle Partner, Škoda, and chatted with fans who connected with them online. Here are some of their comments from the video chat:
Making more than 250 official appearances for Valencia CF
"I don't think about it. When I'm older, I think that I'll look at it in a different way. Right now, I'm not aware of the amount of games that I've played. I'm the third youngest player to reach this milestone though, so you can imagine what that means to me."
Captaining Valencia CF
"Being captain carries greater responsibility on the pitch. It's not enough to just wear the armband; you have to show that you are ready for it. We captains have to get the team involved so that everything goes better. We have to make decisions looking for what's best for the team, and that's what we are doing."

A dream come true
"For me, being able to play for Valencia CF is the greatest thing. I had spent many years working hard and dreaming of getting here. I haven't been able to play in front of a full Mestalla, but I hope that one day I can do it."
His idols
"Since I was little, I always watched Ayala, as he played in the same position as me and had good characteristics. He was a player who I liked a lot."
Mestalla without fans present
"For a club like Valencia CF, where the fans provide such a push, it's tough not to have them with us. Now we are used to it, but we are hoping that the fans will be able to return."
