Guillamón scores on Spain debut
Hugo Guillamón had a dream debut for the Spanish national team, scoring on his first appearance for the senior side.
Special circumstances had led to the Valencia CF centre back being handed his first game for his country, as a case of Covid-19 in the previously selected squad meant that the Under-21s were fielded against Lithuania. The RFEF had announced that the game would be considered a full international friendly.

Guillamón scored after just 158 seconds, converting a corner for La Roja. He played the full 90 minutes of the 4-0 win.
The VCF Academy product is the fifth Valencia CF player to score on their debut for Spain, after Mundo (1941), Vicente Guillot (1962), Óscar Rubén Valdez (1972) and Fernando Gómez Colomer (1989). Of the quintet, his goal was the quickest.
