Jaume the goalkeeper with most saves in LaLiga

A first clean sheet of the season for Valencia CF against Real Sociedad indicated defensive improvement from the squad, who will be aiming for another shutout against Real Betis on Saturday.

Goalkeeper Jaume Domènech is currently the goalkeeper with the most saves made in LaLiga, with 16 stops in the games played thus far. One of the club captains, he has been a solid presence between the sticks and has produced some spectacular stops since the campaign got underway.

He also has a good record against Real Betis, with three clean sheets from matches with the Andalusian side. One of those was in the Copa del Rey semifinal in 2018/19, in which he played a key role in a 1-0 triumph.
