Match Preview: VCF Femenino vs UDG Tenerife

VCF Femenino will welcome UDG Tenerife to play their postponed game which dates back to Matchday 18 of Primera Iberdrola 2020-21 which will take place at the Antonio Puchades at 12 pm kick-off time.
VCF Femenino are currently sitting in 9th place on 24 points from 19 matchdays whereas the Canary Islanders are currently sitting in 6th place on 34 points from 17 matchdays thus far.
VCF Femenino are coming into the game off the back of a 4-1 away loss to Atletico Madrid after almost a two week break. The Canary Islanders shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw against Atletico Madrid and bested SD Eibar by 2-1 on the 14th of February.
VCF Femenino defender, María Ortíz, sat down with VCF Media to preview Saturday’s clash:
“Granadilla are having a great season but we’re becoming a strong side at home as well so it’s going to be a beautiful and highly contested game.
I think this season nobody’s giving anything away, it’s there for all to see. Nobody expected Granadilla to spring the surprise like they are. As you can see, all objectives are open for any side to achieve and we must be a tough side to beat at home just like we’re showing”.
